Apple Springs, Hudson join efforts to help school district impacted by Hurricane Harvey

During the midst of Hurricane Harvey, High Island ISD was hit and heavily damaged. In order to help with the costs of needed supplies, Apple Springs ISD and Hudson ISD joined efforts in contributing to the recovery process. On September 15th, the Apple Springs Eagle football team competed against Temple Holy Christian Academy with halftime entertainment provided by the Hudson Hornet Band along with the Hudson Highlights and all profits from ticket sales were donated to High Island ISD.

We greatly appreciate the Apple Springs and Hudson community members for their willingness to help this school district recuperate from the traumatic event. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all those who have been impacted by the hurricane activity over the past several months.
